Infographic – 6 Months Later

After graduating university in the summer of 2022, I decided to go solo travelling for a while. It was something that I had always wanted to do and I felt that it was the perfect timing to do it. I started off doing a big tour around central and eastern Europe before flying off to Australia and New Zealand. As I was approaching the 6 month mark since leaving the UK, I was living in Melbourne and contemplating staying longer term. Already I was starting to miss the design/engineering world and want to do something to mark the occasion of making it to 6 months. Therefore, I decided that it would be fun to create an infographic poster visualising what 6 months of travelling looks like in data. I was inspired by the Annual Report created by the designer Nicholas Felton, these are super cool I’ll link to them here. So after a few days of trawling through my travel log, apps and bank statements, I was able to put together the poster shown below.
